THE ROBERT W. WOODRUFF HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER. Neuroradiology focuses on imaging and invasive procedures of the central nervous system, including brain, spine and spinal cord, head, neck, and organs of special sense (e.g., eyes and nose) in adults and children. The Interventional Neuroradiology fellowship is dedicated to the endovascular and percutaneous treatment of multiple central nervous system vascular lesions and tumors, to the percutaneous treatment of spine conditions including vertebroplasty, nerve blocks, epidural blocks and biopsy. Fellows, faculty, residents and medical students work collaboratively as a team, with a fellow/resident to faculty ratio of 1:1 to 1.5:1 and a daily volume of 110-150 CT and MR examinations. The neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is an ACGME approved, one-year program based at University of Colorado Hospital (UCH), the only academic medical center in the state.Fellows also rotate at Children's Hospital Colorado on the same campus, where they may opt to complete a second year in dedicated Pediatric Neuroradiology. The programme offers an opportunity to complement subspecialisation training in neuroradiology or an existing structured fellowship programme, through exchange, in this field of radiology. We offer three ACGME accredited positions each year. The Neuroradiology Fellowship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The fellowship involves extensive clinical and catheter-based training under the supervision of two full-time faculty in neurointerventional radiology plus two full-time faculty from neurosurgery, and provides fellows with an outstanding hands-on experience. Over 40 fellows have graduated from our program. The Weill Cornell Medicine Interventional Neuroradiology (INR) Service offers a two-year clinical fellowship for neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and vascular neurologists. The Duke Neuroradiology Fellowship Program is approved for 8 ACGME fellows. All fellows must have a valid Ohio Medical . This two-year Interventional Neuroradiology fellowship provides the unique opportunity to develop clinical and procedural skills in the neurointerventional suite within one of New England's busiest stroke centers. This program provides 1 (or 2 years) of training in Interventional Neuroradiology. The ACGME-accredited Neuroradiology Fellowship is a one-year training program for individuals who have successfully completed a diagnostic radiology residency and are certified by or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology or hold an equivalent certificate. Rotations include pediatric neuroradiology, head and neck radiology, neuropathology, and interventional neuroradiology. We sought to investigate the latest 6-year trend in interventional radiology (IR) and neuroradiology fellowship applications and how it has affected competitiveness in obtaining a position. These diseases include aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and stroke in the adult and pediatric populations. The duration of the fellowship is two years and one applicant is accepted yearly. The Interventional Neuroradiology Program at Boston Medical Center offers minimally invasive diagnostic imaging and treatment for conditions that affect the brain, neck, and spinal cord.
